Rachel
CEO of MindStrong Fitness
As a 10+ year educator, teaching is and always will be my calling.
After years of hearing women shame, blame, and guilt themselves about food, the teacher in me wanted to shout from the rooftops, "There's an easier way!"
Rather than getting arrested for disturbing the peace ;) I decide to start a company doing something no one else in the health industry was doing: EDUCATING
I'm here to teach women how they, too, can take control of a lifelong struggle with food and live a guilt-free life, even in menopause and beyond.
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, personal trainer, and official neuroscience nerd ;), I've helped over 2,500 women transform their lives and reach their health and fitness goals through Ignite, our Signature 12 Week Program, my best-selling book, Becoming MindStrong: The Truth About Health, Fitness, and the BS That's Holding You Back, and my podcast, Becoming MindStrong.
It's my passion and the thing in life that lights me up most...well, that and donuts. ;)
When I’m not educating or lifting heavy things up and down, I travel the world with my partner and snuggle our puppy.Â

Our Powerhouse Coaching Team
Every MindStrong Coach is a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach and expert in the field.
Each coach comes with their unique backgrounds and passions, to best support our members.
Coach Dori
I originally came to MindStrong as a client after a hysterectomy put me in menopause at 38yrs old.
I went from never ever having to think about my size or weight as a kid and young adult to waking up in a body I didn't recognize anymore. Instead of being in the picture, I wanted to hide behind anything and anyone, as I wasn't comfortable being "seen" anymore. Feelings of shame and guilt for "letting myself go" crept in and made themselves at home.
I was eating under 900 calories a day and exercising…yet nothing worked. I felt STUCK and destined to live out life in this “grandma bod”
Fast forward to today, I am a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach and cheerleader, roles in which I get to educate and share every single tip, trick, and resource with other frustrated women, who need help stepping into their own power and reshaping both their insides and outsides.
Coach Lela
In addition to being a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I am a professor with a doctorate in psychology/family studies and human development, and a researcher and educator with two decades of experience. My passion is supporting women in “midlife” - that ambiguous period between beginning and ending (or as Margaret Atwood, my favorite Canadian author wrote, “the middle of a river, the middle of a bridge, halfway across, halfway over”).
I am deeply committed to increasing our understanding of ourselves, as we navigate the river (or stand in the middle of the bridge, depending on your favorite analogy), and our personal relationships as they intersect with our own. My scholarship has resulted in two books, 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and I have spoken at 200 national and international conference meetings -- enhancing health, mental-health, and development for mothers and their children.
Coach Jodi
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and instructor specializing in cycling, Pilates, and yoga, my passion is rooted in empowering women to thrive through their perimenopause and postmenopause years with the right blend of knowledge, nutrition, and fitness. Having navigated my own menopause journey for the past decade, I intimately understand the challenges and triumphs you might be experiencing.
When I'm not training, I love exploring my home state of Washington. I'm also a home gardener, and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of growing my own fruits and vegetables and getting my hands in the dirt!
I'm proud to be a MindStrong Coach, a program I know from both sides. As a client of this wonderful program, I've personally experienced its transformative benefits, and I'm genuinely excited to share that same path to helping you discover newfound energy and well-being
Coach Candice
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach. I have been blessed with the opportunity to train and coach hundreds of clients over the past 24 years. From 1-1 private sessions, online coaching, & mentorship, I have helped them turn their fitness desires and goals into reality.
24 years ago, I had big dreams and wanted to fulfill them by helping others. I knew I had an empowering message of how fitness and mindset has always saved me through the toughest obstacles in my life. My desire and willingness to pursue my dream has given me the ability to be able to coach for MindStrong, which I absolutely love!
Coach Rebekah
Health and fitness have been a lifelong passion of mine. I’ve always believed that real change starts from the inside out. But it wasn’t until I became a client at MindStrong Fitness that I finally found the missing piece — the tangible tools that helped me work with the physiology of my body, not against it. For the first time, I was able to create sustainable results that had previously felt just out of reach. That experience led me here, so I could help others do the same.
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, my coaching style is rooted in honesty, authenticity, and getting to the heart of what’s really holding you back. Together, we’ll uncover the core beliefs and patterns that keep you stuck — and rewire them so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
As an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, I embrace Ayurveda as a life science and a framework for conscious, intentional living. While my coaching is grounded in evidence-based tools like macro tracking and mindset work, I also believe in the importance of balance — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
As a woman who has been through menopause, I understand firsthand how hormonal shifts can impact your body, mindset, and sense of self. I bring empathy, lived experience, and tailored guidance to help other women navigate these changes with strength and self-compassion.
Whether you're navigating a major life transition or simply ready to reconnect with your power, I’m here to walk beside you with compassion, direction, and real talk that gets results.
Coach Robyn
I am an energetic mother of four world travelers, and have over thirty years of experience in education.
AÂ Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with degrees in Outdoor Education and Biology, and a background in research, teaching, and owning an outdoor family resort, I have always felt comfortable in the outdoors-whether at base camp researching wolves, backpacking into the Alaskan back-country for caribou migrations, hiking and kayaking anywhere and everywhere, elbow deep in my gardens, or exploring the outdoor spaces of the Dominican Republic and Paraguay when visiting my children.
However, while feeling perfectly at home in the outdoors, I haven’t always felt at home in my own skin. For many years my weight would cycle through gaining about 20 pounds in the winter, and losing the same 20 pounds each summer. I did that over and over until I hit menopause, and suddenly none of my prior weight loss strategies were working any more.
My journey with MindStrong began as a client. Once I began implementing MindStrong’s mindset tools, and applied the skills of nutrition, l not only lost the weight I wanted, but learned how to maintain my weight at higher calories than I was eating before.
I became a coach because I want every woman to discover the freedom that comes from finally understanding the math and science of nutrition. It is so easy, and when applied consistently it works for everyone. I look forward to guiding you on your nutrition journey!
Coach Jen
Hi, I’m Coach Jen, a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, and also known as Valkyrie of The Great White North ;)
Living and working in Canada, I led a successful but not fulfilling corporate life, and knew when I re-entered the workforce (post baby) it would be different. In 2013 I moved to warmer pastures that brought me to Austin Texas.
Fast forward to living in the US, being a new mother, making the time to invest in myself, I knew I wanted to return to the workforce in a different capacity. One of my greatest Joys is helping and supporting women. I wanted to feel passion and purpose in my next role and in 2018 I pivoted and became a Certified Personal Trainer.
I am a Fitness Professional through and through, a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and PTA Global, NASM Sports Nutrition, PPSC : Pain Free Performance Specialist. With a Love of movement and the intention of longevity, I train for my “old lady body”!
I am passionate about women’s health, guiding women on their journey, and inspiring them to move in ways that test their mental and physical resolve. This is where we build GRIT.
When I am not training, I adore spending time with my son, Maximo, and partner, Joe. We love all things outdoors, great music, and the foodiest food ATX has to offer.
I am so grateful to take my career full circle and be a part of the MindStrong Family!
“Fitness is more than just training, it is a mindset that will forever change your life” JRT
Coach Erin
Hi, I’m Erin. I’m so happy to be a coach with MindStrong Fitness! I started this journey as an Ignite member, and like many of you, I came in feeling like everything around food and fitness was confusing. The “nerdy math” part of the program clicked for me like nothing else ever had. Suddenly, it all made sense, and now I’m here to help you find that same clarity and confidence.
I LOVE to eat! I’ve always loved exploring flavors, ingredients, and good meals shared with people I care about. One of the reasons I love this approach so much is that you don’t have to give up joy around food to reach your goals. (I proudly spend some of my fat macros on fancy butter.)
More than anything, as a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I’m here to help women break free from the constant loop of conversations about food and weight. After years of having those same talks with friends, I knew I wanted to be part of changing the narrative, for myself and others.
I live in sunny California, and I’m the mom of two kids and an energetic rescue dog named Daisy. When I’m not coaching, you can usually find me out on the trails, running, hiking, or searching for wildflowers. I also lead nature classes for preschoolers and love building community, especially for women of all ages.
Let’s make sustainable lifestyle changes together—ones that feel good, make sense, and allow you to focus on what truly matters.
Coach Tricia
In addition to being a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I am also a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and an independent Holistic Coach, bringing over two decades of experience in teaching and coaching. My work is rooted in the belief that true wellness is a multidimensional journey encompassing lifestyle, nutrition, relationships, spirit, and physical vitality.
I love partnering with women to help them unlock their fullest potential. By listening deeply and working collaboratively, I support individuals in crafting personalized, sustainable plans to achieve their wellness goals.
Beyond my professional path, I believe there’s no such thing as a bad beach day. I’m also a proud mother of two daughters and two spirited pugs, who remind me daily to meet the world with curiosity and wonder.
Coach Chassidy
Before joining MindStrong Fitness, I spent years guiding both men and women through deep personal transformation, healing not just their bodies, but their emotional wounds, subconscious patterns, and energetic blocks. As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, Subconscious + Somatic Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychic Medium, Reiki Master, and NASM-certified Personal Trainer, my work is rooted in the belief that real transformation happens when we address the body, mind, and soul together.
I’ve seen it all! From clients breaking free of beliefs that held them back for decades, to people finally feeling safe in their bodies for the first time in years. My approach integrates subconscious healing, nervous system regulation, trauma-informed coaching, and grounded strength training that supports both physical and emotional growth.
What I love most? Watching people go from disconnected and uncertain to grounded, clear, and fully in their power, not because they forced change, but because they finally stopped fighting themselves.
Joining MindStrong Fitness felt like coming home to a community of women who are real, raw, and ready to rise. As someone who has navigated so much as a woman from trauma and disconnection to a powerful, ongoing healing journey, I’m passionate about helping others reclaim their strength, their voice, and their sense of self without shame.
When I’m not coaching, I’m probably nerding out over neuroscience and energy work, or blasting music while weight training in all black (because mood matters). I also love being outside soaking up nature, laughing (because it’s seriously the best medicine), and finding new ways to stretch outside my comfort zone, whether it’s through adventure, movement, or just saying yes to something new.
Coach Christina
Hi, I’m Christina—a mom of three, grandma (Cici) to four, and someone who deeply understands the ups and downs that come with midlife.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the health and wellness world and am a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, certified personal trainer and an integrative nutrition health coach. I have a true passion for strength training—whether I’m doing it myself or coaching other women to discover their own power.
These days, you’ll usually find me at the gym, piecing together a puzzle with a cup of tea, enjoying beach vacations with my family, or cuddling up with a grandchild. I’m also learning to love golf (emphasis on learning), and I’m all about finding simple, stress-free ways to nourish my body without spending hours in the kitchen. And like many of us—I’m not above a good Netflix binge when I need to unwind!
My passion for helping peri and postmenopausal women comes from personal experience. When menopause hit, it brought a perfect storm—an empty nest, a move to another state, too much cardio, too little food, and the weight of depression. I lost hope for anything in life. But with time and a more balanced approach to health, I found my way back. Now, I’m deeply invested in helping other women reclaim their strength, energy, and joy during this transformative season of life.
Coach Carlie
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach and marketing professional, my true passion lies in helping women stay active and healthy. I am incredibly passionate about nutrition as the vehicle to reach our ultimate health goals.
Growing up around sports (my dad was a high school football coach), and being exposed to athletics, I fell in love with training and the weight room. During college, I found a wonderful community in my local CrossFit gym where I competed at a high level in multiple regional qualifying events. My gym community first exposed me to this thing called "macros", and it opened up the world of nutrition for me. Until that point in my life, I hadn't thought anything about the nutritional aspect of my training, and macros gave me a deeper understanding of how it could be used as a tool to change my life! I then went on to run youth and adult sports leagues for my city's parks department, and my passion only grew from there.
In June of 2024, I became a mom, and this has only made me more passionate about women's health and educating others, so that they can fuel their body for all the tasks we, as women, take on!
Coach Amy
As an Ignite alum and now a proud MindStrong Coach/Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I’m thrilled to walk alongside you on this life-changing journey. I’m an empty nester who once believed I had to accept the body this menopausal stage of life was handing me.
But MindStrong flipped that script—and transformed more than just my body.
After years of yo-yo dieting that worked in my 20s and 30s, I hit a wall in my mid-40s. Suddenly, nothing worked. I felt stuck, defeated, and drained. Drastic calorie cuts and intense cardio did nothing but rob me of energy and sleep.
But then I found MindStrong—and everything changed. Through science-backed strategies, mindset shifts, and sustainable habits, I reclaimed my energy, restored my confidence, and reshaped my body in a way I didn’t think was possible at this stage of life.
Now, as Coach Amy, I’m passionate about helping women like you discover your strength, fuel your body with purpose, and break free from the old dieting cycle for good.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll likely find me outdoors soaking up nature, bird watching, or curled up with a good book.
Coach Maria
A Certified Macro and Menopause Coach by day, professional pilot by trade, and avid traveler at heart, I know firsthand the challenges of maintaining health and fitness in the face of unique circumstances and a non-standard lifestyle. My passion as a MindStrong Coach is to empower and equip individuals with the tools they need to thrive, no matter the obstacles. It will be a genuine privilege to walk this path alongside you as your coach and biggest fan every step of the way!
I am a person intent on chasing life and potential to the highest degree, and have learned that a healthy body and mind are the keys to making it all possible. When not coaching, you can find me enjoying long motorcycle rides, trail running, lost in super chill music, or connecting with friends- both old and new.
With an adventurous spirit and a belief that every challenge has the potential to be a beautiful opportunity, I see every mountain—literal or metaphorical—as a chance to discover something magnificent. I can’t wait to be a part of your journey to living your best life.

Coach Megan
I’m thrilled to be a coach here at MindStrong Fitness, a space that has been a huge part of my own transformation. Before becoming a coach, I was a member at MindStrong, and through my journey, I experienced firsthand how shifting both your mindset and nutrition can truly change your life. Now, as a coach, I’m passionate about guiding others toward that same kind of transformation.
A Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with over 15 years as an educator, I understand the power of personalized support, clear guidance, and the right mindset. I specialize in helping women optimize their nutrition with customized macro plans and focus on creating lasting mindset shifts that foster self-compassion and confidence. It's not just about reaching your goals—it's about building a sustainable lifestyle that works for you and empowers you to feel strong, inside and out.
Having been in your shoes, I know how challenging it can be to make lasting changes. That's why I’m committed to providing encouragement, support, and practical advice that meets you where you are. Whether you're new to macros or working to create a healthier relationship with food, my goal is to help you develop the mindset and habits that will keep you on track long-term.
When I’m not coaching or teaching, you’ll find me spending time with my dogs, exploring the outdoors on a hike, or getting in a strength training session. I also love unwinding with a good book or movie. I believe in finding balance in all areas of life, and I bring that same philosophy to my coaching—helping you live a healthy, fulfilled life.
Coach Jordin
As aA Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with a background in both parts work coaching (aka IFS), as well as civil engineering, I am obsessed with bridging practical, evidence-based modalities with heart-centered medicine that helps you get results AND heal emotional wounds.
As someone who is equally as obsessed with pasta & bread, I’ve found MindStrong to be an incredible place for us to work together to establish both the inner and outer foundations needed for you to truly thrive.
Despite this love of carbs and my three (3!) knee surgeries, lifting weights remains a passion of mine. The journey to feeling comfortable in my own body has required nothing but slow, sustainable changes—with ample amounts of flexibility and self-compassion. Which is exactly what we’re up to in MindStrong.
You’re in great hands here. I am excited for you to see just how good it gets to be for you
Coach Chelsea
With over two decades of experience in the health and fitness industry, and a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, my journey began as a personal trainer at a global gym, where I quickly witnessed the transformative power of movement. However, it became clear that fitness alone wasn’t the full solution.
Eight years ago, I shifted my focus to gut health and macro tracking—not just to enhance performance, but to improve daily well-being. The impact was immediate: sustained energy, sharper focus, reduced cravings, and a healthier relationship with food. That personal transformation inspired a deeper mission—to help others experience the same freedom through personalized, sustainable nutrition strategies.
My background in competitive swimming and dance led me into weightlifting in my early twenties, eventually evolving into high-level competition in CrossFit. I currently still partake in weightlifting, body building, and hot yoga.
Today, as a certified macro coach, I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to nutrition—shaped by experience and designed to integrate seamlessly into real life. My goal is to remove the guesswork, support long-term health, and empower individuals to achieve their goals without extremes or unnecessary restriction.
Coach Karen
I'm a certified menopause coaching specialist, certified nutritionist, certified macro coach, and health, wellness, and mindset coach with over 8 years of experience helping women feel empowered in their bodies and minds. My own journey into early menopause at 42 turned my world upside down. The strategies that once worked for my health no longer did, and I found myself gaining weight, feeling sluggish, and frustrated. That experience lit a fire in me to understand the role of nutrition, hormones, and lifestyle during menopause—and it became my mission to help other women thrive during this phase, not just survive it.
Before becoming a coach, I worked as an engineer—so yes, I’ve always loved numbers, learning, and solving complex problems. Now, I apply that same curiosity and analytical mindset to guiding women through peri- and post-menopause with practical, personalized support.
I'm a proud mom of two grown sons, and in this empty nest season, I’ve rediscovered my own passions. My husband and I love spending time at the beach, especially in the summer. And most recently, swing dancing has become a joyful part of my life—I even love dressing up in vintage 1940s and ’50s outfits for our weekly dance nights!
Coach Tracey
For years, I lived on the rollercoaster of yo-yo dieting, food restriction, and overexercising—always chasing a version of health that felt just out of reach. Eventually, that unsustainable lifestyle caught up with me and led to a full-blown health crisis. That low point became my path to transformation.
My journey back to wellness didn’t just restore my health—it completely reshaped my life. At 58, having never been athletic, I became a triathlete! That was something I never saw coming, but it showed me that it’s never too late to become the healthiest, strongest version of yourself.
Today, I’m a certified macro, menopause, health and mindset coach who is passionate about helping others break free from the lies that hold them back and step into the life they were created to live. For the last nine years I’ve been encouraging others to pursue their best and optimal life now—regardless of where they’re starting or how far they feel from their goals. Because optimal health isn’t a destination—it’s a lifestyle and a lifelong journey.
Coach Rayesa
I spent 24 years as a pharmacist, overlapping the last six years with coaching, before retiring to focus fully on supporting women in their health journey, personal growth, and marital growth. My experience in healthcare, combined with a passion for holistic health, fitness, nutrition, and well-being, allows me to guide clients in cultivating spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness.
Through my work as a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I empower women to realign with their inner wisdom, make intentional life decisions, and create resilient families while living purposeful, fulfilling lives.
Coach Shea
As a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with a background in Applied Behavioral Science and Nutritional Therapy, I bring a unique blend of science and empathy to the coaching experience. I’ve also walked in your shoes—as a former MindStrong member, I know what it feels like when “all the things” that used to work suddenly stop working. That moment can be confusing, overwhelming, and discouraging. But it can also be a powerful turning point.
That’s why I’m here—to be in your corner, to help you build new skills, and to support you in finding clarity, confidence, and consistency around food. I believe that real, sustainable change happens when we align nutrition with your body’s needs and your lifestyle.
As a lifelong learner and passionate advocate for health, I love helping women demystify macros and discover the freedom that comes from understanding how to truly nourish themselves—without restriction, guilt, or burnout.
Together, we’ll create a personalized, flexible approach rooted in science and driven by what feels right for you. I’m here to help you reconnect with your body, rediscover your energy, and rewrite your story with food—on your terms.
When I’m not practicing or teaching the skill of macro tracking, you can usually find me juggling life with my five amazing (and ever-evolving) young adult children, exploring new places through travel, or channeling my passion for impact into work within the nonprofit sector.
Coach Tracy
As a busy mom of four with four beautiful grandchildren to love, as well as having opened our home to five foreign exchange students and one foster son, I know how valuable time is. Although I'm an avid lifter on my own, my background is not in fitness/nutrition. After years of frustration with diets that worked at first but never lasted, I knew I had to make a real change. That’s when I found MindStrong.Â
I listened to Rachel’s podcasts, and what she shared made so much sense to me. I went through the Ignite program and I absolutely love the freedom I’ve gained through the simple math and science behind nutrition. I get to enjoy the foods I love (especially sourdough bread!) and have the energy I need to thrive each day. Â
Now as a certified menopause and macro coach for MindStrong, I get to help women release the idea of perfection as part of their "dieting" strategy and teach them to lean into having food freedom, maybe for the first time ever! Â
Because we don't go out to eat much, I've become a wiz at tracking food I make at home, including whole food I have grown in my garden or baked in my kitchen. I love all things organic and believe in feeding myself from the inside first. Getting to teach other women how to take control of their nutrition based on the knowledge I've gained from MindStrong is truly exciting and rewarding as I watch them step into their own power.
Coach Krista
I’m beyond excited to be a certified menopause and macro coach here at MindStrong Fitness. If you ever told me, or anyone who knows me, that I’d be coaching women on their health and wellness journey, we’d all have had a good laugh.
Before becoming a coach, I was an Ignite member, FINALLY learning what I needed to break my lifelong physical, mental, and emotional struggles with my body, weight, relationship with food.Â
Growing up, dieting and poor body image were passed from generation to generation. My mom took me to her TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) meetings while I was still in elementary school. You name a diet or trend and I’ve probably tried it, even undergoing Gastric Sleeve surgery in 2014. No matter what I tried, nothing worked long term and my emotional and mental rollercoaster ride continued with every gain, loss, and inevitable re-gain.Â
Until really learning to understand why I think about food the way I do, and realizing that I’m not abnormal, I wasn’t able to start healing my relationship with food and make lasting changes.
Being a retired elementary teacher and school counselor, I’m very excited to help women who have struggled with the same issues I have and share with them the freedom that comes from understanding food isn’t the enemy and they aren’t broken.
If you could talk to any of my former students, they’d say that I tell it like it is. I’m hard on them because I love them and want what’s best for them. I’m also the first to give them the hugs and compassion they need when things just aren’t going their way. My coaching style is the same. I won’t lie to you or sugar-coat it, but I understand the struggle to manage this thing we call life! Now, let’s get started!
Coach Daryl
My passion for health and wellness started as a collegiate volleyball player, where I learned the importance of fueling my body the right way to perform at my best. Later, working as a respiratory therapist gave me a deeper appreciation for how much our daily choices impact our long-term health.
Now, as a wife and mom of two, I know firsthand the challenges of juggling family, work, and personal goals. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others find balance through nutrition and fitness. I believe in creating realistic, sustainable habits that not only transform your body, but also your confidence and energy. My role is to provide compassion, accountability, and the tools you need to make lasting change.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me enjoying family time, reading a good book, or cheering at sporting events. I love helping others discover the freedom and strength that comes with fueling their bodies well and taking control of their health.
Coach Stephanie
I have been interested in health and fitness since I was a kid, lecturing my parents on the dangers of too much salt and starting a fitness club with my Home Ec teacher at age 14. I started a personal training and private yoga business in 2015 and have been doing that ever since, adding a nutritionist license (in 2023) to my NASM CPT and my 500-hour Yoga Alliance training.Â
While I have known and understood the mechanics of macros and have mostly eaten what I consider a clean diet, hitting menopause messed with my head AND my body. Suddenly, the ways I used to be able to drop a few pounds weren’t working anymore. My 80/20 eating way of life with restriction during the week and letting loose on weekends, which was great for several years, stopped being effective. Going low carb didn’t work. Giving up all sugar for 3 months, while I DID lose a few pounds, also wasn’t sustainable.Â
I found myself with an extra 10 pounds that I couldn’t get rid of, no matter what I did, despite being an avid exerciser, working out 7 days a week and being active in between workouts.Â
So, when I saw Rachel on Instagram and jumped on one of her webinars, I knew I had to try something new, and I signed up for the Ignite program. While I was initially very reluctant to track macros, once I got into the habit, I realized how much more control I actually had and also how much freedom it gave me.Â
I am still on my metabolism healing journey but I understand now what I was doing to my body and why it would never have been a sustainable way to live.Â
Thanks to Rachel’s MindStrong, my coach Robyn, and the Ignite program, I am so excited to help other women like myself who are wanting to find a new and better lifestyle - one that works long term and doesn’t leave them feeling restricted and frustrated.Â
Coach Tracy
I’m beyond excited to begin this new chapter as a MindStrong Fitness coach! Helping women step into their strongest, most confident selves is something I care about deeply, and this program gives us the tools to make it happen.
My own journey started as an Ignite member, and it was the first time I truly found success. Like so many women, I was navigating the challenges of post-menopause — the weight, the energy dips, the sense of “is this just how it’s going to be?” Honestly, I was starting to lose hope. Then this program came along at exactly the right time, shifting everything for me. It reminded me that it’s never too late to feel strong, empowered, and in control of my health.
Now, as I step into this role as a certified menopause and macro coach, I bring with me not only my experience but also my passion for living fully — whether that’s spending time with my family, hiking, yoga, or diving into a good book. With my kids nearly grown, I’m embracing this next season of life with purpose and excitement.
I truly believe we’re in the middle of a powerful shift in women’s health — and I’m thrilled to have a part to play in it.Â
Coach Martina
Fitness has been a passion and chosen career of mine for a little over a decade, but my approach to health has evolved far beyond reps and routines. Over the years, I’ve learned that real, lasting change isn’t just about pushing harder; it’s about learning how to work with your body, your mindset, and your life. That belief is what drove me into personal training, nutrition coaching, and eventually regional leadership, where I supported teams across 14 locations and helped countless clients transform far more than their physiques.
But even with all my experience, becoming a student of my own process is what shaped me the most. Through my journey as a coach, a leader, and a mom of three, I discovered one simple truth:
wellness only becomes sustainable when you understand the science of your body and the patterns that shape your choices.
My coaching style reflects that. It’s rooted in clarity, honesty, and helping you uncover the beliefs, habits, and barriers that keep you from stepping into your strongest self, both physically and mentally. I teach women how to connect the dots between their training, their nutrition, and their nervous system so they can finally see progress that sticks.
As a certified fitness and nutrition coach, I don’t believe in quick fixes or perfection. I believe in education, empowerment, and creating systems you can actually live with. My approach blends evidence-based tools like macro tracking and metabolism support with the real-life perspective that comes from being a busy woman juggling motherhood, work, and health.
I also understand firsthand how life transitions, from stress to shifting hormones to seasons of overwhelm can impact your body and your mindset. That’s why my coaching is built on more than strategy. It’s built on compassion, lived experience, and direct, actionable guidance that meets you where you are.
Whether you’re stepping into a fresh chapter, rebuilding trust with your body, or finally ready to reach the goals you’ve been pushing aside for years, I’m here to walk beside you with direction, understanding, and the kind of coaching that creates real, sustainable change from the inside out.
Coach Connie
As an Ignite alum and now a proud MindStrong Coach/Certified Macro and Menopause Coach, I’m thrilled to walk alongside you on this life-changing journey. I joined the Mindstrong family after 8 years of vigorous "starving and binging" episodes otherwise known as "shreds". I have a lot of experience with macro tracking and now, as a result of learning the right way, I no longer starve or binge! I now eat a nutritionally balanced, and lifestyle sustaining diet which always includes my favorite foods..
Like many other women here, I spent my early adult years exercising like a fiend and yo-yo dieting that worked in my 20s and 30s. When I hit menopause at age 50 everything changed. The belly fat appeared virtually overnight! Suddenly none of my clothes fit so I worked out harder and ate less and over the course of 12 years of that, it just got worse and worse. I was ready to give up when I saw an ad for Mindstrong on Facebook. Rachel spoke directly to me and I felt a deep calling to pursue it further. I'm so glad I did. It has been totally life-changing. Not only am I feeling nourished, but I am no longer feeling depleted, my sleep and my moods have also improved dramatically.
The transformation has been so significant, I knew I had to help other women with this. In the past, I worked as an energy healer coaching women who experienced trauma in childhood. Now, as Coach Connie, I’m deeply passionate about helping women like you discover your strength, fuel your body with purpose, and break free from the old dieting cycle for good.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll likely find me outdoors hiking with my dog or cooking up something yummy in my crock pot! I’m a single "mom" to an 18 year old 6lb. Chihuahua who needed to be rehomed after his papa passed away (my brother) in 2024. This journey has opened me to a new level of unconditional love and compassion I never saw coming. As a native to Maryland, I returned to the east coast after spending 8 years in California to be closer to my family. I currently reside in beautiful West Virginia.
Coach Jackie
Hello, I’m Coach Jackie, a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with a deep passion for helping women feel confident, strong, and in control of their health. I’ve spent years teaching and instructing others, and it’s truly one of my greatest joys. Seeing that moment when a client realizes she can fuel her body, feel amazing, and still enjoy her favorite foods-that’s what drives me. Education and empowerment are at the heart of everything I do!
My journey into nutrition and coaching began from a very personal place. As a diabetic, I discovered firsthand how powerful tracking macros could be- not just for managing my blood sugars, but for creating balance, energy, and freedom in my food choices. It was a path to empowerment and self-trust. For the first time, I felt in control of my health without feeling restricted.
Outside of coaching, I’m a proud mom of four incredible kids and grandma to two adorable grandkids. I love spending time outdoors, kayaking, traveling and spending as much time on the beach-these are the moments that remind me to slow down, breathe, be grateful and truly enjoy life. I also enjoy getting creative with various crafts and sewing projects.
Whether you’re navigating hormonal changes, learning to track macros, or simply wanting to feel more confident in your skin, I’m here to help you every step of the way. “Ready to make nutrition simple, empowering, and sustainable-together?
Coach Jessa
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 25 years of experience in private practice, as well as several hospital and rehabilitation settings. I’ve always called myself a wellness nerd — anything involving wellness excites me! I first started learning about the mind–body health connection in grad school, and ever since then I’ve tried to help people not just by addressing mental issues, but by also focusing on physical health, nutrition, and eliminating environmental toxins. Those areas have always been a huge passion of mine.
I am a Reiki practitioner, a certified life coach, holistic nutrition coach, and personal trainer, which allows me to blend traditional mental-health work with movement, nutrition, energy work, and whole-body wellness. My goal has always been to help people understand how their emotional health, physical health, environment, and daily habits are deeply connected — and how addressing them together can completely change how they feel.
I’m a mom of six kiddos, five cats, and two dogs — good thing I don’t like being bored! If I could adopt all the animals, I totally would! I love helping people learn how to eat for fuel, feel better in their bodies, and make simple changes that improve their mood, energy, and confidence.
When I’m not coaching or working with clients, my happy place is in — and on — the water. I grew up on Lake Superior in Michigan, and now I live on Lake Michigan, which continues to ground me and fuel my love for nature, movement, and balance. One of the many hats I wear is chartering our boat for sunset cruises, combining my love for the water, connection, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
Coach Amanda
I know firsthand how complicated the relationship with food, body image, and self-worth can be.
I was an overweight child, I began dieting and exercising at just 12 years old. For decades, I did “all the right things,” yet continued to struggle — with weight, energy, and frustration. It wasn’t until my late 30s when I self-identified underlying hypothyroidism and gluten sensitivity that things began to make sense. That experience taught me how often women are trying harder, not realizing their bodies need a different approach.
Professionally, I built a successful corporate career, but it never felt fulfilling. When I became a mother in my early 40s, I decided to focus on raising my children — both highly sensitive — and I learned the deep importance of emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, and self-awareness. I learned how to stay calm under pressure, how to become aware of my thoughts and emotions, and how to let go of perfectionism and self-criticism.
Today, I see the big picture. I know I am good enough exactly as I am — while still choosing to grow.
As a health coach, I help women learn practical macro strategies and the mindset tools that make lasting change possible. My goal is to help women stop battling their bodies, build trust with themselves, and finally maintain results without obsession. When body image and weight are no longer taking up mental space, women are free to focus on what truly matters — their families, passions, and lives.

Coach Ginger
I have been a voice teacher & life coach for high achieving performers for over 3 decades and am a mom of 3 grown sons. In being a business owner, wife & mother, I forgot about me. I was out of shape, tired & spent all my energy on everyone else but me. Sound familiar?
It took my ex-husband's betrayal, to realize that I had betrayed myself. I grew up on a ranch and was taught that when you get bucked off, you climb right back on. So I became a Divorce Empowerment Life Coach for women over 50. In this process, I found MindStrong and am now in the best shape of my life as a Certified MindStrong Macro & Menopause Coach.
MindStrong has never been just about weight loss for me. It’s been about remembering who I am—and having the courage to become the next best version of me. A return to myself. A practice in resilience, reinvention & grit. Â
Coach Liza
Like so many, I entered midlife feeling like I was living in someone else’s body, disconnected and struggling to re-learn my body’s rhythm in this new phase of life. My background in healthcare and education brought me to MindStrong as an Ignite member, where I was thrilled to find science-based education that reminded me of the truths that had long been droned out by the noise and marketing-driven mixed messages about nutrition and women’s health in our society. The experience was so awakening that I embraced the opportunity to apply my skills as an educator to guide others through this journey as a coach.
Balance, although sometimes elusive, has always been core to my truth to living a happy and healthy life. Honest reflection, listening to both your own and nature’s cues, and giving yourself grace when life throws things your way grounds me. An avid yogi, I strive to live mindfully and peacefully but also to accept when life just “happens”. I also love the beauty of languages, always expanding my horizons and connections through language study. These ways promote a self-kindness that we often forget to allow ourselves as women. It creates the strong foundation for us to reshape our lives with kindness and knowledge—and is, therefore, in perfect alignment with the educational and neuroscience foundation of the Ignite program.
Coach Carol
My weight loss battle began at age 10, and escalated when I hit menopause. I had run out of ideas of how to help myself when I discovered MindStrong.
Now, I am an Ignite graduate, and I’m so excited to be Certified Macro and Menopause Coach!
What I have learned in Ignite couples well with my 40 plus years of clinical practice as a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist.
Over the years, I have worked in Rehab, Acute Care, Outpatient and currently function in my Private Practice specializing in Women’s Health, Pain Science, and newborn feeding challenges.
I am an Expert Level Myofascial Release Practitioner, and utilize this approach with clients of all ages and issues.
As an educator, I’ve had the privilege to develop and teach an ongoing orphanage program in Changsha, China, and taught for MFR Seminars for 10 years.
I look forward to bringing all of my life experiences to help you on this new path!
Coach Joell
My passion for health coaching comes from personal experience. I’ve navigated my own ups and downs with wellness throughout my adult life, learning that real change doesn’t come from extremes, but from understanding, consistency, and self-compassion. After spending 35 years in the corporate world, I became a Certified Health Coach in 2020 and realized this work was my true calling—helping others the way I had learned to help myself. Like many clients, I discovered Mindstrong and found the missing piece in my own journey, which led me to become both a Mindstrong client and coach. Today, I use these lessons to help others turn their struggles into strength and create a healthier life that feels aligned and achievable.
My work is also inspired by my love of living an active, adventurous life. As an avid scuba diver, outdoor enthusiast, and traveler, I see health as the foundation that allows us to explore, move, and stay present—whether that’s chasing adventure or spending meaningful time with family.
I’m excited to share this journey with others and to be part of the shared passion and support that defines the Mindstrong community.
Coach Marlo
I love making practical sense of complex ideas and theories — it has to work in real life or what's the point, right? As an Ignite alum, that’s what drew me to MindStrong and why I’m energized to work with women who’ve made the powerful choice to focus on building up their well-being.
My delight radar is turned on every day, looking for small and big moments to practice gratitude. A weekly joy is my husband’s homemade pizza on Friday nights! Moving my body is one of my favorite reset buttons — dancing in the kitchen, walking in the sunshine, strength training, yoga (even for my face!), bike riding, hiking. It’s amazing how little movements of the mind and body can change everything.
I’m endlessly curious about people and ideas, and I believe we are developmental beings — always capable of growth and change. In my professional life, I work with people across the country to untangle complex public systems and build pathways toward well-being for children, families and their communities. Becoming a certified macros and menopause coach, and pursuing certifications in mindfulness practice and forest bathing, feel like a natural extension of that work. Well-being isn’t indulgent; it’s foundational.
I believe change starts with the first baby step you take to answer poet Mary Oliver’s question, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Â
Coach Tracey
After 34 years in education — serving as a teacher, high school principal, and supervisor of school counselors and social workers — I understand the power of knowledge, individualized support, and meeting people exactly where they are.
My journey into menopause coaching began with my own experience. Although I officially reached menopause at 56, I experienced years of perimenopausal symptoms including weight gain, hot flashes, brain fog, and more. Like many women, I felt frustrated and confused when the health and weight-loss strategies that had always worked for me suddenly stopped working.
As an educator, I turned to research to better understand what was happening in my body. That search led me to Mindstrong Fitness — and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Learning the science behind hormonal changes and working 1:1 with a coach helped me shift from fighting my body to working with it.
Now, as a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach with Mindstrong, I’m passionate about helping other women navigate this season of life with clarity and confidence. I bring both lived experience and decades of educational expertise to my coaching. Just as in the classroom, I recognize that while we share common challenges, every woman’s journey is unique. My role is to educate, support, and empower you with practical tools that fit your life.
Coach Lyndy
Originally I joined the MindStrong family as an Ignite member, and now I am honored to work alongside new members as a coach. I have decades of personal experience trialing the latest fad diets and trends, which resulted in temporary body changes and the same disappointed mindset. The knowledge I gained by working through this program allowed me to alter my approach to nutrition and health goals, resulting in lifelong forward movement within my own journey. Working with peri- and post-menopausal women, I’m passionate about teaching how targeted nutrition and intentional movement can ease common symptoms, improve energy, and enhance overall well-being.Â
Throughout my career as a registered nurse, I have had the privilege to care for multiple populations. I am reminded daily how important it is to nurture the connection between physical health and mental health. I deeply believe that good food creates a good mood and that movement is medicine.Â
Coach Christina
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the MindStrong team as a Certified Macro and Menopause Coach. Fun fact: I’m also a certified and experienced Birth and Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator. Supporting and empowering women through life’s transitions isn’t just what I do — it’s my calling and my passion.
When my own menopause journey began, I was caught completely off guard. I was eating well and working out every day, just like I always had, yet the scale kept climbing and my body felt unfamiliar. What had always worked before suddenly didn’t.
When I started researching my symptoms and weight gain on my own, the noise became overwhelming. Superfoods, intermittent fasting, step goals, meal programs, calorie trackers — all shouting for attention. “Try this!” “Buy that!” It all seemed gimmicky and unsustainable. I felt frustrated, discouraged, and confused.
Finding MindStrong changed everything.
Instead of noise, I found clear education, practical tools, and real support rooted in science and sustainability. I learned how to work with my body instead of fighting against it. The relief, empowerment, and excitement I experienced were life-changing — and they ignited a deep
desire in me to help other women feel the same way.
I am so happy you made it here! Let’s get started!
Coach Amy
I’m a single mom to three incredible young men (who somehow grew up overnight) and one very sassy Labradoodle, Oscar. For 25+ years, I built my career in tech, helping teams solve complex problems that transform their businesses.
But when I entered perimenopause, I couldn’t figure out what changes I needed to make to "transform" myself.
The amount of information was overwhelming. The more I educated myself, the more confused and disconnected I felt from my body. The only thing that felt clear was my long-term goal: to set myself up for success as I move through my 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond!
That goal led me to the Ignite program, where I quickly learned I was an under-eater (IYKYK!). And that experience inspired me to become a MindStrong coach so I can walk alongside, guide, and celebrate other women navigating this season of life.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll likely find me exploring local neighborhoods or traveling abroad, spending time with my family and Oscar along Lake Michigan, or enjoying a really good coffee (and a cupcake or two).
Coach Amisha
Hi all, I’m Amisha. I’m a community builder, song leader, ocean enthusiast, Pilates instructor, dog and horse mom, artist, and
someone deeply committed to growth and healing. It’s hard being human, with a brain, in a body. We are exposed to so much as we grow and learn, so many messages from the world around us that get stuck in our minds that affect us negatively. Through the healing work I’ve done in my life, I’ve discovered a passion and purpose within myself to help others
with the things that have helped me.
Mindstrong Ignite, and the tools I learned while a member, has been instrumental in helping me shift for the better. I am someone who lived with “food noise” in my brain almost constantly, for years and years of my life. I felt out of control and deeply frustrated. Since completing levels one and two of Ignite, my food noise has decreased by about 95%. It can still show up occasionally, but my life is so much calmer and clearer now. I also am much lighter, both figuratively and literally; I’m down 30 pounds. I want to help other women who struggle with that same noise, with the frustrations and feelings of being out of control.
I have years of movement and vocal practice, trauma work, and now the beauty of understanding macronutrients in my tool belt to help transform womens’ lives, and am so grateful to be able to be able to do that as a Certified Macro and Menopause coach, here at Mindstrong.

Athletics have always been a cornerstone of my identity. From competing at a high level through college to continuing my passion for movement into adulthood, I've always seen myself as an athlete. That mindset—driven, disciplined, and growth-oriented—has shaped the way I show up in life and in business.
When my husband and I opened our first gym, it was never just about building a space to work out—it was about creating a community where health could be approached in a more meaningful way. For me, fitness has always been about more than physical strength. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply connected our movement, mindset, and nutrition truly are.
As I’ve grown through my own seasons of life—especially navigating motherhood and perimenopause—I’ve become even more passionate about supporting women in a way that feels personal, informed, and empowering. I want every woman I work with to feel seen, supported, and strong—not just in her body, but in her life.
I believe that women deserve real, honest support, especially in the stages where they’ve often been overlooked. My goal is to guide women toward reclaiming their energy, building confidence, and embracing the vibrant, powerful version of themselves that’s still within reach. You don’t have to do it alone—and I’m honored to walk this journey with you.

My life has been a dynamic mix of experiences, from competing as a Division 1 athlete to navigating the fast-paced world of medical sales for 25 years. But my most profound journey began when I realized that true success isn't just about external achievements—it's about prioritizing our inner well-being. At 50, I made the conscious decision to step away from corporate America and focus on my health.
Over the last decade, I've dedicated myself to understanding the intricate connection between fitness, nutrition, and regenerative wellness. This personal exploration has fueled my passion to empower women to take control of their health and rediscover their inner strength. I truly believe that we all deserve to feel vibrant, energized, and confident in our bodies. My core values of community, health, and service guide everything I do, and I'm thrilled to connect with you and support you on your wellness journey!

After years of performing on global stages and navigating the highs and lows of life, I realized that true success starts from within. Health, fitness, and mindset became non-negotiables—not just for surviving, but for living fully and intentionally.
Now, I use my passion and training to help others step into their power, prioritize their well-being, and live with purpose. I believe transformation is possible at any stage—and I'm here to prove it.
Fun fact: I still dance in the kitchen like it’s a stage (and yes, my kids pretend not to know me ;))

For over 25 years, I’ve helped women reconnect with their bodies and rebuild trust in themselves through movement, nutrition, bodywork, and mindset. I’m a licensed massage therapist, mindset coach, yoga teacher, and hold a B.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Science. What drives me most is helping women feel strong, capable, and completely at home in their bodies again.
I believe midlife is a powerful turning point. The care we give ourselves now lays the foundation for how we move, live, and feel in the decades ahead. That’s why I’m so passionate about this work, because women deserve support that honors their biology, their intuition, and the full, vibrant lives they’re creating.
Fun Fact: I’m a bit obsessed with sea glass. I walk the beach collecting it, and I’ve filled entire jars with those tiny, colorful treasures. Each piece feels like a little nudge from the universe, a beautiful proof that transformation takes time and the right conditions.

I have always been an athlete and fitness enthusiast. I have completed over 20 marathons and turned my passion for movement into a career as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Drawing from my own experience, I thrive on empowering women through their menopausal journey, helping them stay strong, confident and active during this transformative stage of life. I use expertise and empathy to inspire clients to reach their goals while enjoying the process.Â
When I'm not lifting weights, or running, you will find me reading, beading and puzzling. And, for a fun fact, I have auditioned for Survivor three times (never gotten chosen:), which I suppose proves that I thrive on challenge and adventure both inside and outside of the gym.Â

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Growing up playing sports, I learned early on that moving my body wasn't just about winning games or hitting new goals. It was about feeling alive, grounded, and connected to myself.
But like so many women, I've also felt the pressure of chasing "perfect" health or unrealistic goals. That's when I discovered the power of balance. Fitness doesn't have to mean restriction or burnout; it can be empowering, freeing, and even joyful.
My passion for fitness led me to become a certified personal trainer and CrossFit coach. Now I get to do what I love most: help women step into their strength, build confidence through movement, and create lifestyles that feel sustainable, not overwhelming.
My mission is to show women that they are capable of so much more than they realize. Strength isn't just built in the gym, it's carried into everyday life, shaping the way we see ourselves and the way we show up in the world.
